I hope you enjoy the photos of Colt Gold Cup National Match and Gold Cup Trophy semi-auto pistols.

Go here to find out about the Colt Gold Cup at Colt's web site

Colt has produced the Gold Cup in a number of variations. The Gold Cup has been produced in a variety of calibers and configuration. Among those variations include the Gold Cup National Match, Gold Cup Elite, Gold Cup Trophy and Delta Gold Cup.

The Gold Cup traditionally came with an Ellison adjustable rear sight, wide target trigger, national match barrel, flat-top slide, wide, forward slanted cocking grooves and flat mainspring housing.

This is a Gold Cup Trophy. While this photo depicts what would appear to be a traditional Gold Cup in stainless steel, you can see that the trigger has changed. Colt's web sight shows the current production Gold Cup Trophy with a round top slide in stainless and a flat top slide in blue steel.

Further, Colt has departed from the use of the Elliason rear sight to one they call the Champion, which looks to be a Bo-Mar rear sight.

Above is my Colt Gold Cup Trophy that I use for local steel challenge matches.

I bought this new Colt for $900.00 with an additional $300.00 worth of aftermarket parts.

Notice the Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight and Bo-Mar style rear sight with Colt logo.

Also, I installed King's slide lock, thumb safety and grip safety, and grip screws; Carbon Creations carbon fiber grips, Smith & Alexander mainspring housing with mag well.

This gun also came from the factory with a full length recoil spring guide.

Above is a Gold Cup Elite as it came from the factory (except the ebony grips which I made).

I'm not generally fond of two-tone guns so I replaced the blue gold Cup Elite Slide with a stainless steel Gold Cup National Match slide and installed the blue Elite slide on a Caspian receiver.

King's Gun Works installed the traditional Gold Cup trigger.
